Have you heard the “Love vs. Money” album by The-Dream? I hate to admit it but it’s actually pretty hot. It was released on March 10, 2009 and it’s already shot to the top of the R&B/Hip Hop charts.
The album features some great collaborations with Kanye West, Mariah Carey and Lil Jon and I don’t even know how to explain it. When I was listening to it, I felt like this was a modernized version of a lot of the songs I listened to years ago. My favorite tracks were “Sweat it Out” and “Love vs. Money.”
Here’s the tracklisting (from Amazon.com):
- Money Intro
- Rockin’ That Sh** Listen

- Walkin’ On The Moon featuring Kanye West Listen

- My Love featuring Mariah Carey Listen

- Put It Down Listen

- Sweat It Out Listen

- Take U Home 2 My Mama Listen

- Love vs. Money Listen

- Love vs. Money: Part 2 Listen

- Fancy Listen

- Right Side Of My Brain Listen

- Mr. Yeah Listen

If you get the album on iTunes, you will get some additional tracks including “Hater” and “Rockin’ That Shit (Rap Remix)” featuring Fabolous, Juelz Santana, Rick Ross and Ludacris. This isn’t the video but you can listen to “Love vs. Hate” here:
