The CW Orders More Vampire Diaries

According to Variety, The CW has ordered nine more episodes of The Vampire Diaries and they say it’s a good sign that a full season pick-up is in the works. The teen vampire soap has been a ratings success for the netlet, scoring the highest premiere numbers ever on The CW and doing particularly well with young women.

The young women are mostly staying on for Supernatural giving the series the a 55% up tick in the female 18-34 numbers since last year.  Way to go shows.
