The Beatles remain as the best British band of all time and in my opinion the best band in the world ever. Not bad going when you consider they split up forty years ago and only two of the four members are still with us.

In 1964, The Beatles led what was to become known as the British invasion on the American music scene. And it looks like they are about to do the same once again with not only all their studio albums being re-released in a new remastered format but the release of The Beatles: Rock Band video game.
The remastered studio back catalog is being released on September 9 with mono and stereo versions of all the classic available individually or in a box set. Record stores are gearing up for a lot of interest, with some suggesting that The Beatles will dominate the charts once again. Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road are expected to battle for the number one spot.
Meanwhile, that same day will see the release of The Beatles: Rock Band on the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii. This is the first time the band’s music has been released in digital form, with 45 of The Beatles’ songs we all know and love included in the game.
The Beatles are most definitely back, and their music is going to be everywhere for the next few months. This should and hopefully will see a resurgence in interest in the band’s music, with a whole new generation introduced to what still stand up as some of the greatest songs and albums of all time.
