I was very disappointed that we are now going to have to watch a remade (for Canada/America) Being Human. I am Canadian and I have to tell you that this British made show was outstanding. The characters worked so well together and their personalities were fantastically developed. Sorry, but I just don’t get it!! Why not just continue with the British series here in Canada/USA. I can’t imagine that we are so different that we can’t appreciate the British production. I almost hope that the new series falls flat on it’s face here and hopefully they’ll bring the British version back.

Why bother remaking it? the series is excelent as it is, and there are no cultral issues that I can think of that would prevent Americans enjoying the original version. Im Australian and we continue to get inferior US remakes after the original Bittish shows have aired ad it really just shows how there is no sense in messing with a good thing. If it aint brike, dont fix it.

…this will be nowhere near as good as the original. i’m british, and to be hnoest you’ll never get a more adorable George, a hotter Mitchell or a sweeter Annie, not to mention the rest of the cast.
This will probably suck, because most remakes do.

If you bring this show to the State, then I am very positive that it will be a huge hit. I stumbled on Episode 2 (on-line) in February 2010 thinking that it would be a corny and boring show. Little did I know that I’d be ended-up laughing, crying, and jumping me off my chair once a while. I saw the entire episode and up to today, I remained happy and feeling lucky to have found ‘Being Human. Keep the characters genuinely focus on their love for humanity and for each other, their sense of humor, their quest and their hope to somehow be human again. All the best!
