Susan Sarandon eyes Oliver Stone’s Wall Street 2

susan_sarandon_90620W2_SARANDON_B-GR_01 Here’s some great news! Susan Sarandon is the latest big-time star to hop aboard the Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps train. This sequel gets better and better with each new tidbit of news!

The 62-year-old actress is in negotiations to play the mother to Shia LaBeouf’s character, Jacob, an ambitious, young day trader. She’ll be joining an impressive cast that includes Frank Langella as Labeouf’s Wall Street mentor, Michael Douglas as newly-sprung Gordon Gekko, and Carey Mulligan, whom Sarandon starred opposite in the Sundance darling “The Greatest.”

I’ve also heard rumors that Josh Brolin might play a villain in the film. Wheeee!

Filming is set to begin this fall in New York, with a release date of April 23, 2010.

The ‘latest’ from -son of stockbrokers -always wealthy -former Yalie
    -and ‘daring ousider’ —-Oliver Stone.

Meanwhile the glutted and debauched US is now entirely underwritten
by the most awesomely genocidal regime in history—across the Pacific

-and Hollywood is on all fours -and actively colluding to bury news
of that regime’s ‘peacetime’ slaughter of (—latest figure!)
    70 million human beings

-you’d think Stone could come up with something a little fresher
-a bit more beyond his PC comfort-zone. Alas…
