Wow, someone is angry at his baby brother! This episode is next in line and should pick up where last week left off. (The black and white episode airs the week after.) And just because people keep asking — no, Dean’s not sporting a vest this season. In order to keep the bulk down, the sleeves are often removed from shirts that are worn under a coat, thus in the real scene (some of these are rehearsal shots) Dean will have his leather jacket on over the over shirt, over the tee.

Sam (Jared Padalekci) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover that Jack Montgomery (guest star Dameon Clark), a family man, is turning into a Rugaru, a creature that starts as a human but changes into a flesh-eating monster. The people who are infected don’t understand what is happening until they turn into cannibals and eat another person. Understanding what it is like to be a victim of a twisted destiny, Sam believes he can reason with Jack and convince him to control his urges. Dean doesn’t think Jack’s animalistic behavior can be subdued and decides the only honorable thing to do is to shoot him. Kim Manners directed the episode written by Cathryn Humphris (#3T7505).

I wonder if the title was inspired by Franz Kafka.
I’m a Dean’s girl , but I learnt to appreciate Sammy . I like the fact that he’s so clever , that he knows so much things , that he’s independent , that he wants to know the truth whatever the cost , that he’s not hiding behind illusions . I think he’s really brave , and sometimes he’s very , very funny .
I want more Dean a Sam interactions , too . I don’t want that it’s end up Dean vs Sammy .
Perhaps Sam’s qualities are going to be his curse …

I definitely need more Sam & Dean interaction. Of course any Sam at this point would be a good thing *sigh*. I reeeaaally missed him last week.
I can’t wait for brotherly interaction, I think the first three episodes have been quite good but there’s something missing and that is the closeness between Sam and Dean. It’s just strange that after Dean coming back from hell Sam seems indifferent towards him and Dean just acts like nothing happened, It’s bugging me!
I wish Sam was discovering his powers on his own, I think that would make me interested in his journey but Ruby just ruins everything.
They should have Jensen Ackles wearing one layer, those stupid overshirts always make him look so bulky. Plus he looks so hot in that black t-shirt is not fair to cover him up, whoever thought the boys should be layered up is just cruel! I understand it gets cold up in Vancouver but why can’t they wear one layer during the warmer months…Is it fall and winter in Supernatural all the time? Yes, I’m shallow. So?
I hope I HOPE that Sammy knows how to play with fire . If you play with fire , you have to do it perfectly , therefore you get burn .
I understand Sammy , that he wants to know and learn how to control his powers . I think he’s right , but in the same time , I’m not sure he realises how other people have an eye upon him . He suffured a lot without Dean , but his brother himself is not in good shape either
This season 4 drives me crazy !

Can’t wait to find out if Dean will learn some of Sam’s secrets in this episode…
