Three clips have been released for next week’s Supernatural episode It’s a Terrible Life. None of them floats my boat much, I know it’s supposed to be an AU episode but it’s not working for me. And given that we already did this when the Djinn sent Dean into a world where they weren’t hunters, I’m not sure why we’re doing this again. Seems to be based on the idea that Sam and Dean would be hunters together no matter how they grew up.
More comments after the clips, remember to hit the MORE tag to see the other two.
Two more thoughts. I don’t like episodes that make our guys look stupid and I’m feeling that from these clips. I also am tired of the gay jokes. Do guys really think that another guy is hitting on them just because he strikes up a conversation in an elevator? We get it, you’re poking fun at the Wincesters, move on. Or better yet, since they apparently aren’t brothers in this universe, why not go all the way and let them have each other just this once – it certainly would get you a lot of press and lots of lots of happy fangirls.

Awww. I think it’s gonna be a cool episode, a short funny relief before the big finale and all that. And yay Ghostfacers! I personally think the gay jokes between sam and dean are hilarious. Makes me smile. :)

AMEN SISTER!!! You tell ‘em Cyn. I agree wholeheartedly.
This was obviously aimed at the ‘fangirls’ for them to squee over. I’m afraid it didn’t quite hit the mark, but your suggestion would. *grins*
i loved the line in the second clip …”you over share!”
And the reason for this episode, showing an alternate life for the Winchesters, is most likely the idea of heaven because Dean is desperate and doesn’t want to fight anymore. So wipe him clean, show him how he’s supposed to hunt evil and save lives and we can go on happily ever after.
I’m looking forward to a relaxing episode without the usual overload of drama, angst and crying that Supernatural has gotten so used to.
I’m feeling a bit “meh” about this episode, but I’m trying to reserve judgement until I actually see it. However I can’t help but be distracted by Sam/Jared’s mouth and jaw in the second clip. It looks quite odd, swollen even. I’m wondering if it’s something that happens to Sam in the episode that causes it, or if Jared had a toothache in real life, and they couldn’t spare him from shooting. I’m weird I know, but it’s really distracting.
I think the episode looks like a lot of fun, and we haven’t had a “gay” joke in a while, so I’m not rolling my eyes over it. The show just keeps getting better and better, and it’ll be good to see Harry and Ed again! lol
You know what? I for one am really glad we got these clips, and I think they’re good, and only make me wanna watch the episode more. The writers make them poke fun at each other, with the gay stuff, cuz they think it’s funny, and it is, the boys can’t possible look stupid, cuz they’re the hottest things on the planet, so for the person writing this article or whatever, why complain so much? I just don’t get it, can’t we just take what we can get, and be happy with it? As for my opinion, Sam’s shirt is hideous. :P And Dean would apparently be a jerk if he didn’t know Sam. ;P
wow this epi sounds great !! cant wait till next week!!
