Supernatural: "Lucifer Rising"
THE BATTLE BEWTEEN HEAVEN AND HELL BEGINS — The apocalypse is coming, and Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) prepare for the fight in very different ways. Sam joins Ruby (Genevieve Cortese) on a final run to kill Lilith (guest star Katherine Boecher), while Castiel (Misha Collins) and Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) tell Dean it’s time to play his part in stopping Lucifer. Eric Kripke wrote and directed the episode (#3T7522).
** I love the the juxtaposition of the two sets of photos. Dean is being tempted with beer and snacks in a bright, opulent room. Sam is in the dark, scary, place, creeping around, wary of danger. So perfect!

Am I the only one, seeing the head to toe pic of Sam and think Ken doll? Barbie if he is female. Jared is such sexy boy.
I’m so ready for the Winchester bros to get back on the same page. Looks like a great episode, I can’t wait. But I do really hope we get back to a clearer fight against the “bad” guys and the brothers are working together.
Oh great… Ruby shows up just in time to dampen another season finale. I *would* hold out hope that she gets ganked once and for all, but since Kripke’s writing it and he has a Ruby crush, I won’t hold my breath. With all the good characters dead, and both Winchesters having died already, the only emotional impact left is killing Bobby. So get ready for it folks!
On the other hand I’m liking Lilith though. She made quite an impession in MATEOTB. As for Sam and Dean, the Boys have been at odds and separated all season long and I think we’re pretty much fed up with it. Looks like the schism will get worse but hopefully this won’t continue too long into S5.
Wow, hard to believe we’re down to the final 3 episodes.
Is it just me, or does this Lilith (is it the same one from MATEOTB?) look a lot like Mary and Jess?

Just as we saw Dean at his most desperate and vulnerable in S3, Sam’s gotta hit bottom before he realizes what an ass he’s being! *grins* Right from S1 you knew Sam had to go to this dark place before he found peace. What an amazing season!
