Supernatural: “Fallen Idol”
Jared Padalecki and Paris Hilton are together again and I gotta wonder if the fact that they made the movie House of Wax together is significant. . .
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) decide to start hunting together again and their first case leads them to a small town whose inhabitants are being killed by famous dead icons like Abraham Lincoln and James Dean’s car. However, after two teenage girls come forward and claim their friend was kidnapped by Paris Hilton (in a cameo role as herself), the brothers aren’t sure what they are hunting anymore. Jim Conway directed the episode written by Julie Siege (#505).
Zenamydog – I agree, they do need to learn how to work together again, as a team.
My problem with this, and it might be Sam’s problem with it too, is that Dean has never doubted his own hunting abilities. He’s never expressed any uncertainty in his own ability to function as part of a team. The fact that he’s making this decision to take this hunt, and not allowing Sam to have any input on that decision, proves that Dean is still willing to trust his own judgment. So Dean can say “we” need this all he wants, but I don’t believe for a second that he thinks he needs this.

An episode with no mythology involved , sometimes it is good ! I’m looking forward to see Jared & Paris again , and especially Dean & Paris together !
I love when Dean talks to a car -it is cute but he also looks totally crazy ;)
Looks like a funny one, but I totally agree with Dean…
They need to learn how to work as a team again and ‘saving people, hunting things’ is how they have always done it.
