‘Sunny Philly’ Fourth Season Begins

It's Always Sunny in PhiladelphiaNow the moment we fans have all been waiting for with bated breath has finally arrived — Season Four of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia kicks off tonight with an hour of silly goodness from the guys (and one gal) at Paddy’s Pub.

On the 10pm EST premiere Mac & Dennis: Manhunters, the title characters get too involved with sport hunting. Meanwhile, Dee and Charlie develop an insatiable craving for Frank’s mystery meat, which sounds really, really nasty, in fine Sunny Philly style. Grammy winner Bruce Hornsby guest stars.

Then, on The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis, we have the return of 7th Heaven‘s Stephen Collins, who plays Dennis and Dee’s biological father Bruce Mathis. When Dee and Frank learn Bruce intends to donate money to a Muslim community center, they go all out to have him branded a terrorist leader. Also, partly thanks to the ridiculous cost of gas these days and partly thanks to their idiocy, Mac, Dennis, and Charlie begin a scheme to make money by selling gasoline door-to-door.

In celebration of the new season launching tonight, check out a clip after the jump of series star Kaitlin Olson (Sweet Dee) answering burning fan questions covering topics like her approach to acting, being a hot chick, and suffering several major injuries. That’s her real-life fiancé wheeling her away at the end, also known as Sunny Philly creator and star Rob McElhenney (Mac).

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia airs Thursdays on FX at 10pm EST.
