I must admit, when I read this news, I had to look up Stephen Graham and see who he was. He’s been around a while, doing movies and TV since the 1990s. I’m guessing that’s him second from the left in the photo.
Most notably, he was cast as the dim-witted Tommy in Guy Ritchie‘s film “Snatch.” Apparently, though, he didn’t even audition for the role, but rather accompanied a friend to an audition for Ritchie one day. When asked if he was next, Graham replied “No,” and Ritchie asked if he could start work Monday. Love those kinds of stories.
Now Graham has joined joined the cast of Relativity’s “Season of the Witch,” starring Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman. He’ll next be seen in Michael Mann’s “Public Enemies” as Babyface Nelson.
I’ll have to check that out, too, since I’m a huge Michael Mann fan.
