Seth MacFarlane’s venture with Burger King and Google, Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy, is doing pretty well. Here are some initial stats:
In its first three weeks:
- ‘Cavalcade’ has generated more than 14 million views across a network of sites including youtube.com/sethcomedy, youtube.com/bk, sethcomedy.com and across targeted sites in the Google Content Network.
- youtube.com/sethcomedy has received more than 100,000 subscribers, making it one of the most subscribed to YouTube channels of all time, bigger than many other established entertainment properties on YouTube.
- The initial results are based on the first six ‘Cavalcade’ Web shorts; there will be 50 shorts in total.
While these stats are great, I’m wondering why we’re only seeing one to two shorts every few weeks, rather than the two a week we were initially promised.
