Yesterday a package was delivered to my door. Too tall to be a DVD, I anxiously ripped it open (not an easy task, mind you) and found what you see pictured here – a Stargate Universe promo book that got me excited all over again about this new series.
The book is tall and heavy like a yearbook with glossy pages that featured portraits of the stars and their bios. Te back of the book covers the production staff with photos from the series. And it lights up! Pretty nifty, huh? I’m not sure it tops the Warehouse 13 Farnsworth, but it served its purpose – which was to get me writing about Stargate Universe again.
I’ll admit that my enthusiasm for the show has been waning. Partly because I feel like I’ve been hearing about it forever and we still have a month before the first episode airs on October 2nd. But now I have preview discs in my hands and just in time for the long holiday weekend. How perfect.
I can’t show you the first episode but I can hook you up with everything you need to know about Stargate Universe.
The Official Stargate Universe page on Syfy has video clips, behind the scenes information, episode guide and a Twitter feed to several cast members who post.
