"Star Trek" – New Pics!

Hey “Star Trek” Fans! Pick up a copy of the new Entertainment Weekly, which features a bomb photo of the new Kirk and Spock (Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine) on the cover. Inside the mag are actual shots of the film.

The pics of Zachary Quinto still make me think of Sylar on “Heroes”, but I’m sure once I see him in action, I’ll be on-board with him being Spock. I’ve heard that his portrayal is spot-on, from the eyebrow gymnastics to his thoughts on those pesky, irrational humans. As for Chris Pine, I predicted he’d be a big star when I saw him in “Just My Luck” with Lindsay Lohan.

“Star Trek” hits theaters at warp speed on May 8, 2009. Until then check out the pics below (the first is Eric Bana as the evil villain, Nero). Hopefully, a trailer won’t be far behind. There’s a teensy teaser on the movie’s official site.
