Sprague Grayden Interview with TVGuide

Sprague Grayden recently chatted with TVGuide.com about her role as first daughter Olivia Taylor on 24, chatting about her role, and some slight spoilers!

Grayden says that she was definitely a fan of the show and was very excited to get the role. “I’ve been blessed to do so many different shows, but I’ve never done an action show, really. On Jericho, other people got to ride horses and shoot guns, but I never did. This is a whole new genre for me.”

When talking about her character, Grayden says that Olivia is very goal-oriented. “Olivia definitely has her business, and she’s going to get it done. I think Olivia is clearly supportive of her family, as is every member of the family. Family is first and foremost for all of them.”

Grayden says that she can’t talk about her character’s relationship with the First Son who died and her parents. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to answer that…. after my first couple episodes air, the answer to that will become very clear. But I will say that Olivia’s relationship with each of her parents gets explored, and they may be different sorts of relationships.”

And as for romance on the set, Grayden says she thinks Carlos Bernard is kind of dreamy!
