MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD! There’s some very big stuff in here, so proceed at your own risk!
Dark UFO has posted some new spoilers about filming for Season 6, which is currently underway in Hawaii. The two reports are long and rambling (and quite vulgar), so allow me to summarize for you:
- After the scene where Claire goes into labor, Kate rushes her to the hospital in their taxi cab. A nurse rushes out of the emergency room with a wheelchair, loads Claire into it, and takes her inside. Kate grabs Claire’s purse from the taxi and rushes in after her. Inside this hospital is where baby Aaron is born (in the new timeline).
- Jack, Kate, Claire, Miles, Hurley, Sawyer, and Sayid have been seen filming at the new Temple set (it’s possible the mention of Claire here was a typo). The eye witness says that this is a clear continuation of the 1977 storyline, though he doesn’t know if what’s happening is still in the past, or if the survivors have been transported back to the present. Sayid is still covered in blood from his gunshot wound and trying to recover from that, and all of the survivors are still covered in dirt and mud, though none of them are wearing their Dharma jumpsuits anymore. Weird.
- The survivors at the Temple are attacked by a group of people we’ve never seen before, an army of some kind wearing dark clothes with lots of red coloring, that look “almost Asian or ethnic” in design. The eye witness describes them as looking very much like pirates, with plenty of bandannas and long hair and big guns. (Could this be the “they” that Jacob told his nemesis “are coming”? Or have they maybe jumped back in time to the Black Rock’s arrival on the island, and this is the crew?) A big fight scene goes down with lots of shooting and high drama between Jack and Kate, and some heroic action from Sawyer, but ultimately our heroes are captured and taken inside the Temple.
- Another scene was filmed later between two characters who the eye witness couldn’t identify. One of them was an Asian, and believed to be one of the pirate-like people. The other was a Caucasian “hippie type” who may or may not have been our old friend and Dharma head honcho, Horace Goodspeed.
TV Guide today posted a few minor spoiler bits based on things they learned from the Red Carpet at the Emmys:
- Jughead the H-bomb (which sounds like a 60s hair band) definitely detonated.
- Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) recently shot some scenes for Season 6, and may return to Hawaii to film more.
- Despite the “everybody’s back” nature of Season 6, where seemingly every character who’s died on the show is getting the chance to return, it’s still looking like Cynthia Watros (Libby) is refusing to come back to the show. But Jorge Garcia (Hurley) has hopes that we may yet get answers to Libby’s lingering mysteries, even if the actress isn’t involved.
Speaking of returning characters… Despite all the hype about Boone’s return, actor Ian Somerhalder tells New York Magazine that we shouldn’t get our hopes up about seeing a lot of him. “It was very quick,” he says, “and it was a lot of fun to see everyone, to be back on the set, and to see the island, even if it was just for a few hours.”
Sounds like Boone will only appear in a scene or two.
