There are just two more episodes left in the seven-episode first season of TNT crime drama Southland. Next up is February 16th’s “Westside.”
One subplot focuses on Detectives Lydia Adams and Russell Clarke as they try to apprehend a band of thieves who love stealing loads of jewelry from wealthy Bel Air residents.
Unfortunately, Officer Ben Sherman learns he knows one of the home invasion victims. That relationship makes the crimes personal for him, which leads him to break some rules to help get justice. Uh-oh.
Meanwhile, young Janilla (Carla Jeffrey, Curb Your Enthusiasm”) prepares to finally testify in court, with the support of Detectives Sammy Bryant (Shawn Hatosy, pictured above) and Nate Moretta, the first of whom ends up letting her stay at his house for her safety.
