Yeah, it goes without saying that the new Indiana Jones sequel will open at number one. But how big do SFUniverse fans think it will be? Could it shatter Memorial Day Weekend records?
We want to hear from our loyal fans. Tell us how big you think the haul will be for the first Indy flick in nearly 20 years. Also, if you see it this weekend stop by and give us your impressions. This one reportedly has a few more “sci-fi” trappings than we would have initially expected. And yes, as I mentioned they are already kicking around the idea of another one. That one, if it happens, could have either Indy or Shia LeBeouf’s new character Mutt Williams going on an adventure.

Yeah, the aliens just don’t fit for me. Of course, some day if aliens actually show up Spielberg will be able to look at the rest of us like idiots.
Hanger 51–Area 51, Communism, A-Bombs, Aliens–mind control…Oh my!
I was rolling right-on-track w/this fast-paced adventure, laughing thru the witty dialogue until the 2nd to last scene…As producer & writer I think Lucas should have persuaded Spielberg not showcase his E.T. past in order to retain the Indy legacy…It’s like an esteemed comrade of ours said, “Aliens and Indy do not belong together”. Bottom line, I was disappoint w/the film on the whole due 2 that one scene before the final one…If not for that scene I would have ranked it hi on my fave Indy flix list…Now, my list is–Indy 3, Indy 1, Indy 2 and Indy 4…Sorry, Spielberg.
As for it’s B.O. Haul–Not as big as I-Man, nor will it surpass B-Man…Especially since it did not make 200M over the 1st wkd…However, I do think it will be in the top 5 of this summers biggest B.O. blockbusters…After all, it is a Lucas production of a Spielberg film about America’s fav archeologist aided by the grand scores of John Williams.
