Woo hoo! Three worthy performances from Showtime stars got the nod from the Hollywood Foreign Press at the Golden Globes tonight.
Congratulations to Toni Collette for her best comedic actress win for United States of Tara and to Michael C. Hall (best actor in a drama) and John Lithgow (best supporting actor) for their statuettes for Dexter.
Michael Ausiello, of EW’s Ausiello Files, says Hall and wife/costar Jennifer Carpenter were in the lobby when Lithgow’s win was announced, but they managed to make it back in for his acceptance speech.
E!’s Kristin Dos Santos notes that Hall, a true “class act,” didn’t announce his treatment for cancer until after voting had closed for the Globes.
Red carpet pics aren’t available for anyone but Collette yet, but we’ll be back with photos of all the Showtime nominees and their guests as soon as possible.
