Building on the success of its Showtime concept house last year, Metropolitan Home magazine is joining with the network for a showhouse again this year, but with **way** more bang for the buck.
The 2009 showhome will actually be two homes: a pair of Tribeca penthouses with twice the square footage, double the number of designers, and two rooms for each of your favorite Showtime series.

The showhouse “allows visitors to get a deeper insight into the characters and storylines that solidify Showtime as the premiere destination for compelling programming,” Showtime executive Len Fogge said in the announcement of the project.
More than a dozen designers or design studios will transform the spaces, using shows such as Californication, Dexter, Nurse Jackie, The Tudors, United States of Tara and Weeds as their inspiration.
If you’re in the NYC area this fall, consider checking out the end result. The penthouses will be open on weekends for public tours from Sept. 12 to Oct. 18. Tickets cost $20, with all proceeds benefitting Housing Works, a nonprofit that works to end AIDS and homelessness.
