David, someone's been feeding you bad info.

V was the highest rated new show of the season, and though its numbers have dropped off a bit, it's still a strong player. And FlashForward has been one of the most buzzed-about shows of the season as well, and its numbers have been strong enough to pick up a full season order.

Neither show has been the overnight sensation that Lost was, but that's all but impossible nowadays for a serialized show, because the broadcast world is a very different place than it was 5 years ago, with more competition and more forms of media vying for viewers' attention.

V and FlashForward aren't exactly ratings stars. Either or both cold be a faded memory by Feb 2.

From my BlackBerry Tour...

No word on the Olympics situation yet.

Maybe V will be on at 8. V and Lost seem like a good pairing.

Really. I thought we had heard some lame excuse that there would be an Olympics break?

What week is Spring Sweeps next year? That's the logical finale week. Does it line up?
