A few days ago I reported that the Meerkat Manor film Meerkat Manor: The Story Begins would debut at the Tribeca Film Festival today for the free family feature films. Well it seems like the production staff at the film festival have really done a great job this year to feature more films that are science and “green” related.
Check out this movie, Terra, which will play at the BMCC Tribeca PAC on Saturday, May 3rd at 1:30PM.
The film is a CGI feature, which tackles both social and environmental issues in a family friendly way. The premise of the films is that after the Earth is destroyed in a civil war, the humans finally find a place they can call home, Terra, which is an Eden with apartment buildings made of mushrooms and whales swimming through the clouds. But of course, the Eden was already inhabited by another group and they frequently clash with the humans.
