Davenport, Iowa is the shooting location for Sci-Fi’s Children Of The Corn remake. The more I hear about the cast, the more interesting it gets. David Anders (Heroes), Kandyse McClure (Battlestar Galactica), Preston Bailey (Showtime’s Dexter) and Daniel Newman (NBC’s Surface) are rounding out the latest group of corn walkers.
In this remake, Anders and McClure portray a couple who decide to take a second honeymoon to cure their marital issues. Looks can be deceiving when they arrive at a mysterious rural community where the fun begins.
If you’re a fan of Heroes, you know that David Anders portrays a fascinating character, named Adam Monroe aka Takezo Sensei. His character has the ability of rapid cellular regeneration, and was a bad guy in Season 2.
The beautiful Kandyse McClure has as one of her most popular roles that of Anastasia “Dee” Dualla on Sci-Fi’s Battlestar Galactica. She portrays a fleet officer on the Galactica and wife to Commander Lee Adama (Jamie Bamber).

I am excited about the remake, McClure and Anders are two of my favorite actors in television and in sci-fi, they are consistent and great artists and I know they will do a lovely job. I do not like scary movies, but I will watch for these two (of course with some friends :))
