There is a definite end date in sight for the Holly Hunter cop drama Saving Grace.
TNT recently announced the network plans a summer 2010 series finale for the show, which will come at the end of a 9-episode fourth season. Star and executive producer Hunter is an Academy Award winner, and she has also scored two Emmy nominations for her captivating performance on Saving Grace.
Says TNT executive vice president and head of programming Michael Wright: “Since Saving Grace began in 2007, the series has both challenged and entertained viewers in ways few other shows on television ever dare. The show’s continued success is thanks to the amazing talents of Holly Hunter and Nancy Miller, along with a tremendous ensemble cast and a highly skilled production team. They have taken us on a unique journey, and we look forward to seeing where it will ultimately lead.”
The network hasn’t announced yet exactly when the show will return for it’s final run, but TNT Report will have the news as soon as the premiere date is released.
