Sarah Michelle Gellar Returns to TV

25th Annual William S. Paley TV Festival - Buffy Reunion

According to Variety, Sarah Michelle Gellar may be giving up her wildly successful movie career to return to TV. (I added the ‘wildly successful’ part.)

The series wooing her back is a half hour dramedy for HBO called The Wonderful Malady’s.  The plot revolves around three dysfunctional adult siblings who lost their parents when they were very young.  Screenwriter Charles Randolph wrote one of the parts with Gellar in mind says she has “a kind of zealous immaturity — like a drug addict with a to-do list.”

That would be the character, not Gellar — I think.

The pilot should shoot in New York at the beginning of next year.

To bad I don’t get HBO. It will still be good to see Sarah on magazine covers, TV commercials and more talk shows promoting her new show. Can’t wait. I love you Sarah and wonder if Prinze knows he’s the luckiest man on earth.
