Ron Livingston Suing Wiki writer for saying he’s gay

The thing about sites like Wikipedia is that anyone can write or update them. So when someone writes something about someone that isn’t true, well, it’s just not right.

Actor Ron Livingston, star of “Office Space” and several upcoming movies, including “Going the Distance,” is dealing with that conundrum. Apparently, an anonymous Wiki writer keeps editing his entry to read that the actor is in a gay relationship.

Pic Shows: Ron Livingston. But Livingston is fighting back, and more power to him! He’s married to actress Rosemarie DeWitt and calls the rumor that he’s in a relationship with Lee Dennison “malicious.” As such, he’s filed a suit with the Los Angeles County Superior Court, seeking unspecified damages for libel, invasion of privacy, and for using his name and likeness without permission.

If that’s not enough, Livingston also believes the perp has created fake Facebook profiles for both he and Dennison, and both pages claim the two are in a relationship with each other.

Seriously, who would do this? Who has enough time on their hands and nothing better to do than make someone else’s life miserable? I hope the Wiki guy has to pay big-time!
