For anyone in New York, here are a couple opportunities to see a little more of Robert Sean Leonard and Lisa Edelstein.
First, Robert:
On Monday, April 24th at the New York Library for Performing Arts, a starry array of actors will take part in readings of scenes from Alan Bennett plays.
The line-up for the readings, which will commence at 6 PM, will be comprised of Eileen Atkins, Philip Bosco, Richard Easton, Christine Ebersole, and Robert Sean Leonard. They will read from Bennett works such as The Madness of King George, Forty Years On, Single Spies and The Lady in the Van. (BroadwayWorld.com)
Now Lisa:
Taking its cue from recent headline-grabbing sting operations targeting child molesters, ImageOut: The Rochester Lesbian & Gay Film & Video festival will present the provocative Say Uncle, a dark, wicked comedy about mass hysteria over pedophilia. This fundraiser event is scheduled for Thursday, April 27 at 7 p.m. in Little Theatre 1 at 240 East Ave. Fresh from its stints at more than a dozen LGBT and international film festivals, the film’s exclusive screening will treat the Rochester audience months before the movie begins its limited theatrical release in June. (The Empty Closet)
Lisa Edelstein plays a supporting role in Say Uncle. This isn’t a live appearance, but rather an exclusive opportunity to see what she’s been doing. The film begins a limited theatrical release in June.
