Robbie Williams Messes Up ‘Angels’ On The X Factor (Vid)

Robbie Williams was one of a number of star guests on The X Factor at the weekend. He appeared earlier in the series, giving the contestants a masterclass and performing Bodies. This time, he joined Olly Murs on stage to sing Angels, the track he’s still probably best known for. Unfortunately, he messed up.

Robbie Williams walks on stage and starts singing well before he’s meant to. He then realizes his mistake, looks sheepishly at Olly, and then gets it right the second time. The look on Olly’s face is priceless as it dawns on him that that could be a costly mistake on his behalf.

We all make mistakes, of course, but this was a huge one during the biggest TV event of the year. And you’d really think that Robbie would be used to singing live after all these years. Olly went on to lose the competition to Joe McElderry but I’m sure this wasn’t to blame. Instead, it came down to pure talent in the end.
