Television critic, Doug Elfman, has some quips from the “dour doc.” I love Laurie’s sense of humor, as illustrated in this quote:
On working in L.A. while his three teenage kids grow up in England: “I worry about parenting at this sort of distance, but they are being so generous and so cool about it. Maybe it’s because they’re English. Maybe they won’t reveal their psychological damage until their late 40s.”
i think that is an awesome quote, because he is in his late 40′s and has clinical depression so perhaps he think they will end up like him. he realised he had clinical depression when he was raceing and he wasn’t excited or scared.
I loved them all, but that one stood out to me as well.
That’s a great quote.
