"Quantum of Solace" Teaser Poster

Film-goers at the Berlin Film Festival woke up to the sight of the first teaser poster for the 22nd James Bond movie, “Quantum of Solace.”

It was unveiled Thursday morning on the side of a building in Germany.

The movie stars Daniel Craig — his second as the secret agent — in a continuation of events set in motion by “Casino Royale.”

“Quantum of Solace,” scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 7, 2008, finds 007 out for revenge on a mission that takes him to Austria, Italy and South America.

As for the iffy title (iffy, in my mind, anyway), it comes from a short story by author Ian Fleming, first published in the 1960 collection, “For Your Eyes Only.”
