Prison Break Writer – Nick Santora’s “Slip & Fall”

Nick Santora, writer for Prison Break, helps launch Borders new book publishing program with his first book “Slip & Fall”. The novel is a thriller revolving around a good man who makes one very bad decision that may end up costing him, and the family he loves, their lives.

“Nick is a talented screenwriter and executive producer of the Fox television series ‘Prison Break,’” said Bill Nasshan, Borders Group’s senior vice president of adult trade books. “We discovered Nick as a novelist when we began to partner directly with talent and literary agencies to review manuscripts and screenplays that could be published as books under our new exclusive and proprietary publishing program, an ongoing effort that will differentiate us and give customers access to compelling titles they won’t find elsewhere,” he said. Other titles planned under this initiative include an upcoming John Legend tour book and a 50th anniversary GRAMMY book.

To give customers an early glimpse of the exciting new Santora title online, Borders has posted at http://www.bordersmedia.com/nicksantora a video featuring Santora talking about the book and his journey to becoming a writer. In addition, Borders has also posted on the site a preview of the first chapter of the book and gives customers the opportunity to reserve copies of “Slip & Fall” to pick up as soon as it hits Borders and Waldenbooks shelves June 11.

“By publishing ‘Slip & Fall’, Borders marks the launch of a new concept for our company that will differentiate us from other retailers and build customer loyalty,” said Borders Group Chief Executive Officer George Jones. “We are now working directly with the major talent and literary agencies to discover and publish books by celebrities, screenwriters and authors; titles that will only be available in our Borders and Waldenbooks stores. It is an exciting initiative and we are pleased to kick it off with Nick Santora’s first novel.”

I AM ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED TO HEAR THAT SKY ONE HAS POACHED THE EVER SO POPULAR PRISON BREAK. IT IS OKAY FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN AFFORD SKY PROGRAMMES, BUT POOR PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF WILL NOW NOW BE ABLE TO SEE THIS VERY POPULAR PROGRAMME.

WHAT WILL I DO NOW I CANNOT SEE PRISON BREAK EVERY WEEK. I HAVE FOLLOWED IT ALL THE WAY AND NOW BLOODY SKY HAVE PINCHED IT FROM ME AND OTHERS WHO CANNOT AFFORD SKY TV.

    ITS NOT FAIR.

HOPE THAT AFTER THE THIRD SERIES I AND OTHERS WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THE DVD FOR THE THIRD SERIES.

    I AM GUTTED.

    MYRA.
