Prison Break Two Hour Series Finale

PRISON-BREAK-SEASON-4.jpgPrison Break
Season 4 Finale
Spring, 2009
Spoilers

Kristin with E!Online has some news on the two hour series finale and it is NOT to set up the stage for a spin-off.

The Prison Break creative team is finally making that much-discussed two-hour wrap-up film.

The two bonus eps are titled “The Old Ball and Chain” and “Free,” and they take place a couple of days after the events of the season finale. A studio source tells us exclusively that they’re “a self-contained Prison Break adventure in which Michael faces the most challenging break ever.” And yes, Gretchen is involved, but so is the rest of the Prison Break cast you know and love.

I don’t know, part of me still hopes for a spin-off!

I’m not much of a TV watcher but one night 4 years ago I was flipping the channels and caught Michael’s face. He was dressed in a suit before he was sentenced to Prison. I begain watching that night and never stopped until the last episode. My sister and I kept saying how can the writers get any better and each season they did.
It was a great show with great acting, and wonderful writing. With all the crap that is on TV today it was so nice to watch something that was so well done. I will definitely miss it.

I have seen the Final Break and Michael does indeed die, but in typical Michael style he dies protecting the people who he loves the most. He’s a martyr and in my opinion it was the perfect ending for the show. The Final Break was amazing and definitely tied up a lot of loose ends to the series. I have truly loved this show and will miss it terribly.

I watched this series from its first episode up to the last one. I still can’t believe that my favorite series ever was going to end.

The Final break really has a sad ending. I almost cried when Michael says those line in his video. I can say that I am really into the show as I felt how they really wanted their freedom and happy life. No more tricks and set ups, they are finally free. Too sad that after all his sacrifices Michael can’t make it to the end. But I prefer his death that way than dying on his disease.

But I just wanted to point out some event that could possibly lead in new episodes:

    1. Michael death was really vague. They haven’t shown his body.
    * remember how Kellermen back to the scene. We saw that he is been shot but never seen a dead body.
    2. Same with Michael, the General might still be alive. We saw him sitting in an electric chair but like what happened to Lincoln someone stopped them. Again no dead body has been shown.
    3. There are still Feds that are after for Michael and his buddies even they are already exonerated. They could be from the company.
    4. It is also possible that someone took over the company and sees the general is now useless like what Christina seen? It could be kellermen? Lol.. =P because he hasn’t shown up when Sarah is in trouble and send a useless one instead.
    5. We still haven’t seen where Scylla is. Does really the UN has it? Or possibly another party that took interest to it?
    6. Michael could possibly figured out that the company still exist and faked his death to protect his child and to take over to what his father started to totally bring the company to the ground.
    7. I also wanted to point out those conflicts with dates. I think that the writers are too good to missed out this kind of details. It might mean something I just can’t think of it. If Michael dies on November 4, 2005 and things fast forwarded to 4 years after, 4 seasons have past, and it’s been 4 years since the show started. Could it possibly mean that someone will be back sometime on November 2009?
    8. The last one I would like to point out is, remember the last part of the Final Break? When Sarah and Linc watched Michael’s video? He looks uneasy, (might be normal for someone’s saying goodbye) but if we go back in one of their episode where Michael and Linc showed up on National Television they are both intentionally been uneasy to give a secret message, Mahone surprisingly figured out the secret message behind the video. It is possible that there is a secret message on the video that can be decipher by mahone?

All of it might just be a dream for us but remember guys it is prison break and a lot of things are possible.

Believed what you wanted to believe, I just assumed all these things that the writer intentionally leaved vague for possible new episodes in the future.

I still hope for its comeback but if the show ends that way, I am happy knowing that Sarah and Michael kept their love until the end and others finally has their happy life. It is such a great time watching and waiting weekly for its episodes. I hope these guys will have a good break in Hollywood, they deserved it! Kudos guys, kudos also for the writers and directors!=)

I thought Michael’s speech in the video to Linc and Sara was by far one of the most powerful speeches ever in terms of content, emotion and truth that parallels our world. I really appreciated the show right from the start and will miss it greatly! cheers!

Well if they plan on bringing this back for next season, it will not be the same without Michael!! He was the reason I watch it. I was very disappointed with the ending , unless its a setup for another great season!!!!!!!!!!!! The writers of this show should get something, it was so well written and they could not of pick any better actors!! I loved them all, even the bad guys made you love to hate them!!!

This is by far one of the most elaborate, intense, and flat out amazing shows i have ever seen. I watched every one of the episodes, never missing one. The ending was amazing, obviously it wasn’t what you want, but still. I don’t know of a show that can top this, and it didn’t get the attention it deserved. 24 was nothing compared to Prison Break, which is still one the best and most amazing shows I will ever watch. I will miss it, it just is so fucking amazing, end of story!!!

If there is season five, then they should resurrect Michael Scofield because no plans will be hatched without him.

this was an amazing show i havent watched anything like it every episode was as intense as the first, but like most people i am very dissapointed by the ending if they do decide to make another season i hope they bring back micheal for i think that without micheal it wont be interesting and i for one will not watch it without him they should bring him back like they did with soo many of the characters, i mean many of them miraculously survived a horrible accident or attack.

    Good ending.

Fitting that he dies. HOWEVER, would have written it slightly different. I think the writers got a little sloppy towards the end of season 4 as alot of things DONT add up and there are much better ways of hatching alot of the plans they did. You can tell it was written abit quicker than normal. HOWEVER, I must say this is the first series that got me addicted. ESPECIALLY season 1.

Amazing characters. GREAT acting. I think all the main characters are really believable, and do an amazing job. Mahone and Micheal especially (considering the dodgy scrips Mahone was given at times, he was really a class act).

    RIP PB.

Too bad “The Final Break” was poisoned by the ham-fisted insertion of the character obviously intended to look like Rachel Maddow. Fox is known for its character assassinations and is none-too-subtle about it.

i think that they gona involve some power like having not dead but from electrocution he got charged but again got back to prison or he got into a comma so as to make it in another season
