Episode 4.23/24: Prison Break: The Final Break
Hagesyan just sent over this interesting tidbit… Somehow how I don’t believe it’s true – but wouldn’t it be nice? Also – here’s an ADORABLE picture of Michael and Sara getting married!
“I was checking the forum chats for Prison Break at Fox.com about the Series Finale and one of the members/bloggers posted the following.It was under the title ‘Michael-The missing years.’
I have seen the special that shows the 4 missing years from the season finale … Michael is not dead. He has gone back to the doctors from the company which still exists although the general is dead. They performed additional surgery in return for his commitment to work for them. After the success of the surgery he faked his death with the help of Kellerman and the US government after agreeing to help them bring the company to its knees. Other stories with the other characters’ lives mix into the show. The visit to the grave was only to commemorate his success at tricking the company into believing he was dead and ending its reign.”–Scotfieldfan”

its a ridiculous ending they should of kept michael alive and carried it on

yes jamal is true i watched it today too! just couldnt stop crying as the ending was very emotional!
in a nutshell micheal sacrifices his life in rescuing sara’s as he said that he wud die soon because of the breain tumor! so he got eletricuted and sara broke out of the women prison and she got saved! other stories include gretchen goin back to prison and was unsuccessful in escaping wid sara! very very sad ending i must say but a good one!! but my heart still doesnt make me believe that michael is dead after watching this show since 4 years and passing the whole week looking forward to the next episode!! i am just too sad that prison breaks finaaly over!! btw is there by any chance of a a season 5?
sorry guys it aired in israel i downloaded the torrent he commits suicide so sarah can be free forever very sad ending.
Michael dies saving sara but the brain tumor was always going to kill him , he reveals this is why he took the action he did.

Brilliant point Josh – sounds very logical thinking about it that way. Also, Sara had just found out that she was pregnant – so wouldn’t have given birth for 7-8 months. If Michael died soon after the finale, he would never have been able to meet his son. I doubt that the writers would deem that a fitting ending to a wonderful character – it just leaves every fan without the closure that Michael got what he wanted. They all gathered at the grave as if to imply that it was the anniversary of his death or something along those lines, and Lincoln leaving the crane on his grave was touching. But as we are all hoping, if Michael is not dead, why would Lincoln leave the crane?!
The directors revealing the nosebleed is a red herring, to throw us off completely. In a show where everything must be questioned, and nothing believed, it’s exactly what they would do, in order to really shock us in the movie. The only real ‘shocks’ that they could have are Michael indeed being alive, or dying through some other way.

I have also noticed all the elements you gave and the fact that Sara says to MJ “let’s go to see your daddy”. All that Sara says or does at the end are a little bit strange, for someone who has lost a dear person.
Even if ONU gets Scylla and Krantz is in jail, it doesn’t mean that the Company is down. Some people could manage this organisation and could take revange (Lisa…). We also can suppose that some people could try to break out Krantz…
So to protect his family and himself, Michael has to disappear.
On the beach, Michael and Sara seems to want to live in Chicago, why does Sara live in a Panama or Mexico, 4 years later ?…
I hope that these questions will be resolved in the last 2 episodes.

if you look at the date of his death on the tombstone it is in 2005, the same year in which season 4 ended- the final break is meant to fill in the gap from 05-09, so if scofield dies in the first year, what will we be seeing four years of????

yh i hope this ending is true!! im still upset bout the ending of the last ep :( BUT i have one question.. if he is alive n he faked his death. has he told linc or sara dats his alive or not or is he doing a Christina n pretenden his dead???? I live in the uk london!! so we’re gonna c pb the final break on sky dis week… YAY shame americans have to wait for the dvd!! HA HA FINALLY WE’RE FIRST!!!
To Roluca, in the USA the format of dates is as follows, Month, Date, Year, but having spoken with visiting travellers, the format is Date, Month, Year. It would make sense to put the date first then the month, but here in the good ole’ USA there are lots of things that could be more logical. For instane, we don’t primarily use the metric system. If you wanna get furthur into the paranoia of numbers and this fictional series, look up THE GOLDEN RATIO and cross reference the founder of it to the Witness to from season one Fibinacci
I still hope for a twist in final break where we discover Michael isn’t actually dead. A LOT of people come back in this series… Just think Sara, Kellerman, Christina, Krantz, Mahone… In many scenes they show something slightly ambiguous that in theory means someone’s dead and in the next episode you see that person alive again…
Plus in the dvd there is a kind of slogan that says: Prepare yourself for the truth. So I guess something of what they’ve implied in the last episode is just fake. It could be Michael being dead what’s a lie!!
Also in the graveyard scene nobody looks too sad. And there is one thing I noticed yesterday when I watched that final scene again: As sara leaves she just pats the gravestone twice… It doesn’t even look emotional or anything…
I don’t know maybe I’m paranoid. If in the end Michael is really dead I’ll just use my imagination and pretend he’s not lol.
Please people who want him to be alive write your theories down, I’m sure there are many things I didn’t notice!!!!
Umm maybe the stunt people couldnt find a 2005 model cars so they go with the more reccent cars…
