Recap

Thanks to David G. for his recap:

The last time we left off our heroes, Brad Bellick gave his life for the team. It was sad.

So Michael and Don held a secret meeting with Gretchen. The last time we left her off, it looked like she was back to no good joining up with her boyfriend, the General. But now, she told them that Scylla was being moved. So is she a double agent? If so, why not tell the guys about joining the company again?

At the warehouse, more hidden clues are showing up in the pages of the bird book. Letters, the first three letters found were C, M, and E, obviously spelling out, “See me.” Michael gathered more letters and spelled out the name “David Baker.” Which is who needed to be contacted. So they began to google him.

At Gate, T-Bag’s secretary handed him Gretchens fingerprints and background info. She explained that she was clean, that there were no mentions of anyone on the team, including Whistler. T-Bag went wide-eyed when he heard her say Whistlers name. She tried to cover herself by saying Michael said it once, but T-Bag knew better. His boss then stopped him, asking him to present to a group, using his legendary sales record techniques.

At the warehouse, Michael’s condition returned. He didn’t bleed from the nose, nor did he get shaky and confused, he simply fainted. So Dr. Sara had to rush him to the hospital, hopefully to tell us all whats wrong with him. He had a quick cat scan, and the doctors asked him to wait for the results, Michael wanted to leave, but Sara asked him to stay. His safety was her only concern. When the police showed up, Michael decided it was time to go, and asked the doctor to call them with results.

Mahone was the one to visit David Baker. Apparently, David Baker was a ‘Vincent Price’ impersonator, did anyone hear his voice? Anyways, Mahone was there to ask him for help. He said he worked for the company, but David Baker quickly figured out the truth, as agents from the Company began to surround the building. Mahone had to leave, but before he got away, Baker’s wife slipped him some information on Scylla.

At Gate, Lincoln and Sucre were trying to figure out what to do next when Sucre accidentally stepped on a explosive trigger, if he moves just a tiny inch, a giant boulder would drop from above, and they would have to run away from it with an incredible adventure score…or blow up. Lincoln told Sucre to hold on as he got Gretchen to help. She said she would have to manually de-trigger the bomb.

Back at headquarters, Michael and Mahone were looking at the information Baker’s wife gave him, and realized the land mine was also a trigger for an alarm. So in a flash of lightning, Mahone got from headquarters to Gate, and told Gretchen to stop what she was doing. Then found a manual overdrive to turn off the trigger for twenty seconds. My question was, why didn’t Linc think of that, there was a box on the wall, and no one thought to see what it was? Anyways, after a bit of crying, Sucre stepped off the bomb, and he was fine.

T-Bag, back at Gate, took a look at his secretary’s file. He called a number in the file, which was answered by Don Self. Earlier in the episode, we learned she worked with Homeland Security, hopefully we will learn more about this in the weeks ahead.

Back at the warehouse, the team takes a moment of silence to say goodbye to Bellick, just before he is shipped to his mother for burial. Sucre made the phone call to his mother, as promised. Sara told Michael she got the call from his doctor. He has a tumor, and needs to have surgery right away. Michael explained he needed two days, but Sara told him it had to be one, or he runs the risk of dying.

    Just a thought…
How about we DON’T post any spoiler information on any posts BUT the spoiler posts..

Not all of us spoil the story for ourselves…

  2. By Brandon

I think Michael’s losing his ability to think creatively, or even common sensually.. We may be losing our Michael!!
Maybe he will have the surgery and it will be a success!! Only after brief moments of suspense like he might not make it out of the operating room, but he will..

I agree with most of the comments Misa scenes were very touching and real.We believe them, they realy love each other even without any kisses or sex scenes between them.I liked the part when she told him that she pretended she is his wife with her pretty look and smile and he looked at her smiling in a very cute way, saying something 2 her and when he left her going to the scan, he was looking at her,it was very emotional. All the episode is so great and the last scene with Belick it was emotional too.But I’m realy upset because of u……. I Love MISA!!!!!!! why did u ruin the surprise in episode 15!!!!!!

    @ Brandon, I don’t think tbag saying “I am my father’s sin” means any of that!!-if u know what I mean…..

Solid A for the episode.Mike sara is perfect, and sarah looks stunning. She doesnt need extra make up coz she’s a natural beauty.Even with just casual clothes.Gretch is funny but i never really care much of her.I love when linc comes and grabs her to follow him. It’s funny also to see matt and nick there. If only paul scheuring was there too. He’s an awesome writer

Yeah, he kept pausing, and saying um.

I think that, yes, she finally saw him admit to having a condition.
What really scared me for Michael was when he attempted to make a call at the hospital.. Sara said that they’re below ground or something, but yeah, most hospitals do not allow calls to be made(or have a special area to make calls in).
Michael was like “Oh yeah..” like he didn’t realize it. That’s the thing, Michael realizes EVERYTHING.. so if he can’t realize something as simple as that, he may be in more trouble than we think you guys..

why was she surprised when he told the Dr that his mum has the same condition?
is it because thats the first time he confesses that hes sick?

I loved how protective Sara was of Michael when he collapsed, telling Self that it’s her decision and telling him to close the door.
I’m happy they write her as a stand up kind of woman, not the type that runs around like “OMIGOD! MY BF IS SICK!” She’s believable.

I loved, also, that even though he just collapsed unconscious on the ground Michael still denies anything is wrong. When he kept saying “I’m Ok” even though he could barely open his eyes.
Some people are so stubborn. Poor Michael

I love how he described himself in S2 as this..:

    “I am my father’s sin..”

I wonder if he’s the one who killed his father, or if his father was murdered..

i thought they were going to kick tbag out of that meeting room
    hes so funny

They can’t just erase what T-Bag did in the past, I wouldn’t be surprised if he dies in the end.. I hope he doesn’t, but the moral of the entire show is to bring justice to those who deserve it. T-Bag has gotten off pretty much scott-free since they broke out of Fox River. Granted he’s been through some f’d up sh!t since then, he has changed a bit, and doesn’t seem to be just running on evil. I believe that he truely wanted to start over and be a good man when he was with Ms. Hollander and the children. But since that, he reverted back to the old T-Bag, and since they broke out, has been looking for a way to be somewhat good..
It still doesn’t make the fact that he did those things, but those things were done to him when he was young.. He is the last of a cursed breed and is determined to have his bloodline end with his life.. He’s just the laws of Karma all come down wrong..

When T Bag was giving his talk in the board room we got to see Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora in cameos as 2 of the men sitting at the conference table. Cool!

  14. By Brandon

Yeah, it seems like he does that in like everything he’s in. He does it on PB, he did it in Transformers, and Street Kings.. I think it’s like his speciality or something.. ;)
JLOK has been on my good side as far as her character goes, she did seem a little bit funny this episode.. I can’t wait to see her in that little School Girl outfit she puts on for the General!!
I’ll admit, ever since we found out she didn’t actually kill Sara, it doubled her credability as a character and I began to like her a lot. PB is famous for making you love characters that you hate.. I know, weird. But it’s true.. Abruzzi, Kellerman, Mahone, (even though they both are good people that just got tangled up in the company’s plans) Bill Kim (god I hated that F***er) T-Bag (of coarse), Bellick, and finally now, Gretchen..
    I love all of them..

I think it’s immpossible to turn T-Bag and Gretchen to the good side. Both of them did to many very bad things . I mean T-Bag is a pedophil rapist . All they can do is but him in a greyzone but never make him a good guy.
He showed some good things before ( Don’t killing Mrs. Hollander and the kid’s for example)but he allways will be the childkiller he used to be for years .

i thought the promo pic were taken behind the scenes during the filming of the actual episode. that`s why there`s different camera angles. they might`ve taken some of it out, too, seeing as how this episode was pretty crammed with action (Sucre on a bomb, mahone running from company at baker`s house, etc)

^^ sucre`s starting to remind me of ricky ricardo the way he gets all angry and starts talking really fast in spanish.

I noticed the differences too voila!!
and why do I get the feeling that they are slowly turning tbag and gretchen in to the good side??o_O

  18. By SOP

I agree with sierra, gretchen was so good in this episode, it’s funny how you start to like characters you did not like before, like Bellick, i miss him already.
it was a great episode, the misa scenes were very real…tbag’s face when he learns about Bellick was priceless
i have to say, every actor in PB, is bringing something to the table ( you can’t say that on every show) ok i know i am a fan :)

  19. By voila

hi, do not start the cancelling thing again please, this is the best show ever!
Did anyone besides me notice that the promopics they showed are a bit different than it was on the episode? or do they leave scenes out at the very end? the way linc touched mikes head on the pic and the way Sara feels his forehead, too bad..

Good episode.Eventhough i usually dont think much of JLOK’s acting skills,i admit she is actually better in this episode. It’s good to see her being funny coz she’s not overdoing it like she sometimes is when she’s meant to be ‘evil’.Mike sara is back!love the little gestures, touching mikey’s arm, holding hands, the way they look at each other.and when sara’s smile fades away as soon as mike can’t see her again and leaves for the scan.Brilliant.just shows how she puts on a brave face for him.And of course, another solid performance from fichtner.but overall, everyone is doing a good job
