Prison Break – Episode 4.01: Scylla

At PBreakFans.com, a fan recently asked Nick Santora the purpose of Michael doing the voice over in one of the promos, “My name is Michael Scofied and there was only one good thing in my life … her name was Sarah.” The fan goes on to say that this seems slightly out of character for Michael.
Nick’s response is that, “The voice over in the promo is an audio clip from an episode … it is not the entire clip so you’d have to see it all the way through when it airs. but i’m glad the promos have you guys excited and talking.”
We know that it’s for the first episode when he’s writing the letter!

It’s going to be their alternative to doing one massive “PREVIOUSLY ON PRISON BREAK” vignette.
This will be used as a summary to bring people up to speed without having to resort to showing old footage.
