Prison Break
Episode 3.06: Photo Finish
Aired: November 5, 2007
Director’s Take
Panama:
Director Garry Brown talks about taking the filming to Panama. They went to Panama on a location scout to prepare for multiple sequences. They also wanted to shoot stock shots and “establishing” shots, of both the modern and colonial part of Panama.
While in Panama they worked to recreate the scenes shot earlier in Dallas. At the hotel in Panama they were able to reshoot a scene with Dominic Purcell from the hotel’s 21st story balcony.
Brown chats about how Dominic and Jodi knew their characters so well that he didn’t have to do much directing! He also speaks about the fans in Panama, they were constantly swarmed by fans of the show – up to 800 people at one time! They felt very welcomed and saw first hand how many people are really watching Prison Break.

I agree, enough with all the stock stuff!!
This clip shows what I didn’t like hearing about PB moving to the Fox set. It does add value & visually to the show to be filmed on different locations. It helps the show make look more authentic & not like half the shows on TV that all look so phony. Really, has anyone ever gone to the local police station & it look anything remotely like any of the CSIs? Those people pay some serious tax bucks to have such nice government offices!! lol
