The Associated Press reported that R&B singer Tank, real name Durrell Babbs, was arrested after defying direct orders from the police in New Orleans.
Apparently during a concert that Tank attended there was a shooting incident outside. Police quickly set up tape barriers covering up the crime scene. Tank, after what I could imagine was a few drinks felt that the barrier didn’t apply to him so he preceded to walk though to get to his car. Police immediately responded by ushering him out of the crime zone but after showing hostility Tank was tassed.
Tank will appear in court April 17 for trial.
