TVGuide.com recently chatted with Paul Adelstein about Private Practice, and of course a couple Prison Break questions were thrown in there!!
TVGuide.com: Are you, as I am, of the thought that Prison Break’s Kellerman is not necessarily dead?
Adelstein: I am definitely of that mind, although there have been no indications that he is not dead.
TVGuide.com: When that van door popped open [at the end of Season 2], I always took it that he was expecting to see whomever he saw.
Adelstein: That’s why it was a fun piece of writing, because it could play either way. I’m either being rescued… or I’m being deep-sixed.
Can’t we have him back for one episode? Even the finale?!?
Paul Kellerman is one of my favourite character in Prison Break :)
kellerman is mad cool. If they brought him back the ratings would go way up
Kellerman is alive! One way or the another. Even if he does’nt appear, he’s alive. But he will be back because there were plans at the beginning of season 4 to bring him back. He might be back by the end of the season or if there is a season 5.
ok private practice is a popular show no doubt, think its funny they interview adelstein about private practice and he brings up kellerman could be alive, i could picture if this is the last season bring adelstein in on episode 19 or 20 aving him for 3 episodes i wish more couse he knows alot about the compnay as does mahone i wanna see those shades again
I thought he played a great character in the first two seasons. Maybe they will bring him back for this season’s finale?
I think he should definitely come back, even if it is for one or two episodes. PP was only renewed for 14 episodes which leaves him with a little time to do something for PB.
BTW… I *was* being serious about Paul and him coming back..

He’ll be back.. Just like the tag-line of SAW II; “Oh yes, there will be blood..”
But then turn it into; “Oh yes, there will be Paul..”

seriously, if the writers weren’t thinking about it then they wouldn’t allow him to talk about it in interviews.
They know not to screw around with the audience now after Sara.
I mean all the ex “soldiers! (Kellerman, Gretchen, Mahone…)
It’d be greaat if the writters could bring him back!
Just imagine the brothers working with the ex Company’s “soldiers”!
i don’t know.. i mean .. i *DO* think they’ll do fine without him. look at SWC.. they did a great job back then too!
Kellerman is not dead they definately left it open…
so great that Paul Adelstein agrees, i have such a good feeling about this !

As for you Matt, well you’re just pure mean aren’t ya?! You don’t have proof he’s dead, so why confirm it?
What is with Prison Break fans and wanting every character to come back?
He is dead folks, and it should stay that way. He betrayed the company, he said his “smile before you die quote,” he smiled before the shotgun blasts….he died.
It is the only way for that scene to make any sense. Why would the company want Kellermn alive after he went public with what the company was doing?
I hope he’ll be back. He’s one of my favorite character :((((((

Just when we thought that a seemingly evil character has turned on the good side, the writers ‘kill’ them off :(
C’mon people, just yank Paul out of PP for a short while and give closure to Kellerman!
Then we’ll see how the ratings would be like.
Paul Adelstein is on another show and will definately not be back on Prison Break. the only way it will is if his new show fails and PB goes into Season 5. Other than that, we can assume Paul Kellerman will not be back. They DID, however, leave it open to the fact that he COULD come back if they wanted him to. He didn’t die on camera.
Ohhh…. I wish Kellerman was back for s4. :(
