Patricia Arquette in True Romance

True Romance (Unrated Director's Cut)

Check out a younger Christian Slater and medium star Patricia Arquette on HBO in True Romance.  I haven’t seen it, have you?

Would you see a movie written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Tony Scott (before he got jiggle-happy with his camera) and starring Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Brad Pitt, Michael Rapaport, James Gandolfini and Christopher Walken? Of course you would. And yes, it’s a potent combination, Slater and Arquette playing impulsive lovers who steal a drug dealer’s sizable stash, then skip town. "True Romance" is funny, it’s violent, it’s one of Tarantino’s formative pre-"Pulp Fiction" works.

Set your TiVo: 12:20 a.m. Monday, HBO2. Via M-Live

I’ve seen it – excellent – very unexpected story line, a tad violent though.
