Only because every generation wants more realistic horror films. Every GEN also seems harder to please than the one before. The Exorcist which in the 70's with Linda Blair had people running to their churches...today is just an amusing movie to this young generation of kids. I'am glad Jared Padalecki is doing the lead in for the movie, but I hope the kid does at least one comedy in the future. You Go Jared. Friday the 13th , I think will live forever.
