Optimus Prime and Cohorts Ready to Roll

Prime-Megatron Image Superstar director Michael Bay has admitted he was hard at work on the script for Transformers 2 during the writers’ strike.

“We’ve got our characters all designed,” Bay told popular film site Rotten Tomatoes. I always write all my scripts, my movies anyway so at least I’ve got something to give the writers. It’s like a template. We have a really good outline so I worked on that. We had to because I want to make my date. I’m not going to let the strike take me down.”

The writer in me says support the writers, but the movie geek in me says “Yes! More giant robot face-punching action!”

I love the Transformers and they did an excellent job with the movie! This movie along with Batman Begins are by far my favorite action movies. I can’t wait for 2nd.
