I dont believe that the most important characters in a movie are the main characters. People tend to talk so much about Burrows and Scofield; they are great! But I believe they wont be as good without the help of others. For example, would you have loved scofield so much if he didnt suffer so much in prison; like having his toes chopped off by Abruzzi? He wouldnt even have his feet dressed by Dr tancredi and gotten those opportunities to chat with her.
Anyway, abruzzi is one character I really miss. My favorite! I loved the way he became sober and ‘redeemed’ himself after recovering and returning from the wounds t-bag inflicted on his neck! Wasnt that entertaining???
I think people like Abruzzi made PB worth watching at Season 1. Season 1 was good for 2 reasons: one was the characterization and the other was the fact that it had a little bit of everything. A prison environment with diffrent characters; psychos, murderers, mob bosses like Abruzzi, innocent ones, stupid peolple who have made mistakes, etc
Its sad they kept wiping out the good ones that kept us in front of the screens… Imagine what PB will be like now at Season 3 if characters like Abruzzi and Sara are still around!
