It’s a wrap for the first, hugely successful season of Nurse Jackie with the brand-new August 24 episode “Health Care and Cinema.” And never fear if you are one of the show’s many, many fans because a second season is already ordered and in the works.
During the comedy’s first-ever finale…
Jackie finds herself torn between multiple commitments when she agrees to meet Kevin at midnight (at which time he plans to give her an unexpected new diamond ring) and to assist O’Hara in admitting the doctor’s mother after she arrives from London.
Meanwhile, the movie critic (Victor Garber of Alias and Eli Stone) finally comes out of his coma, only to realize his movie tastes have changed drastically.
And Eddie causes a scene at the hospital following a prolonged drinking stint at Kevin’s bar. If he makes good on his threats, he’ll reveal his big secret to anyone and everyone in listening range, which will surely create even more problems for Jackie.
Sneak two peeks at the final episode of the season below: Amazing Chemistry (Coop is convinced he and Jackie have “amazing chemistry” and tells her all about it) and Stripped of My Powers (depressed Zoey gets a temporary mood boost from a new patient).
