I’ve heard of a lot of things during my lifetime, but never anything like what’s coming up on tonight’s (June 22) fresh episode of Nurse Jackie deliciously titled “Chicken Soup.”
During the episode, Jackie talks about her daughter Grace’s anxiety with Dr. O’Hara, and pharmacist Eddie discovers a machine called a Pyxis that dispenses pills is set to replace him. Losing your job to another human being — Sucks. Losing your job to a piece of equipment — Pretty damn priceless and brutal.

The kicker of the episode, however, is one of the latest patients to arrive for treatment at All-Saints Hospital in Manhattan: an elderly gentleman who’s been treating his heart condition with — you guessed it — chicken soup. Apparently, it was tasty but didn’t do much good.
The two sneak peeks below are The Cat Did That (the team learns a patient was involved in a most unfortunate incident involving his cat) and The Pyxis (Jackie asks Doctor Cooper to oppose installing a Pyxis to replace Eddie.). If you’re lovin’ Peter Facinelli as Doctor Cooper, these clips are definitely for you since he’s featured prominently in both.
