In my book, any movie that features Michael Cera is worth seeing. In Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, he plays a guy who’s nursing a broken heart and has a vague ability to play the bass. Norah (Kat Dennings) is fed up with the world and has her own problems. The two have nothing in common except for their taste in music, and their chance encounter leads to an all-night quest to find a legendary band’s secret show. Sounds like my kind of movie.
Directed by Peter Sollett, this movie is rated PG-13 for mature thematic material, including teen drinking, sexuality, language, and crude behavior. In theaters Oct. 3, 2008. Check out the trailer:
