Finally fed up with his father Alan and uncle Charlie’s tendency to embarrass him to death in public places, Jake decides it’s time to stop living with both of them.

I used to be a fan of the writing on this show … but a cold, mean edge is creeping into the writing that isn’t much fun to watch. Tonight’s episode was the worst yet — and yes, I get that it was the premise of the show, Jake getting tired of the arguing.

Their writers need a vacation, I’m thinking … and they need to introduce a bit more cuteness. Jake is DEFINITELY too old to pull that off!
