Shaun Ellis is a British wolf expert. To him, wolves are not only his work – they’re his family. For years, Shaun has been sleeping, eating and living with wolves at the Combe Martin Wildlife Park in Devon, England, successfully infiltrating the pack and becoming its peacemaker.
He has immersed himself in this social construct and his ultimate goal is to promote a greater human understanding of wolves while helping to re-grow wolf populations. Shaun had surrendered himself to the idea that he’d grow old with only the wolves by his side – that is, until Helen Jeffs entered the picture.
Helen is Shaun’s girlfriend – his “human love.” She completely accepts Shaun’s peculiar lifestyle and the sacrifices he’s made for the wolves. In fact, Helen has a passion for the wolves as well.
In the new Animal Planet series, LIVING WITH THE WOLFMAN, Helen, with Shaun’s guidance, changes many of human habits to make living with the wolves possible. She learns to growl, bark and bite her way to authority, holds a strict high-protein/no sugar diet. Find out about this strange couple this season on LIVING WITH THE WOLFMAN.

I haven’t seen the show yet but yesterday I got the new system for my Direct tv that will allow me to tape shows so easy! I was able to catch a couple of the “Living with Wolves” and loved it!
I’ve had every animal known to Noah in my 57 years.Did alot of rescue work.I thot I knew a little about animals untill I got some land 10 years ago.I ended up with 11 dogs among other species.What I learned from having a herd of horses(some wild)and “pack” of dogs with 5 pitbulls boggled my mind! You don’t know anything about an animal untill you OBSERVE them .One simple cool reaction .Get down on all fours,lower your front half onto your forearms,wag your butt like crazy and make a whinning sound and pant like a dog does.You will look like an idiot and your dog will go crazy happy!

I would like to comment that I just loved the show, and loved the Wolfman and Helen. They were so adorable together! I looked forward to it every Wednesday night. I did not miss one show!
I love wolves, and have my house decorated with wolve figurines, and pictures on the walls.
I would also like to say that on the last episode that the Wolfman and Helen had gone their seperate ways, and had to work on things. I hope and pray that they have or can work things out for the sake of their relaionship, and the wolves missing Helen as their mother.
Both the Wolfman and the wolves need Helen! I wish them all the luck in the world to work their issues out, and can get back together, and stay together.
Also will their be more episodes of Living With the Wolfman, it was very informative, and well worth watching these beautiful animals that the Wolfman is helping.
These animals in Alaska are being slaughtered and I think it’s throughly digusting! Governor Palin is behind this, and having innocent wolves killed.With the show and the Wolfman, he can show and educate these ignortant people that wolves will not harm you, and that they are a living creature of God and were put on this earth for a reason! If you leave the wolves along they will leave you alone, just like any animal!
Plus if people would think, (and they don’t) our domesticated house dogs are orginated from the wolves, and related to them. I ask you would you kill your dog? Just like these stupid people think what they are doing to these innocent wolves. It is senseless!! These wolves have feelings too! They are a living and breathing creature!
We need the Wolfman and his show to return too tv to educate people that we can live with the wolves, and co-habitate together without hurting them!
So I ask to please bring the show back, and that Helen comes back, and show these idiots that wolves need not to be slaughtered,and that they are not dangerous to people.
Thank you and please support the Wolfman and his show,and the wolves! These are Beautiful Animals!
