We’ve been talking about casting news and rumors for “New Moon” over on this post. Come join in the discussion! That’s the much-anticipated sequel to “Twilight,” scheduled for a 2010 release date.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, star Kristen Stewart (pictured) confirmed that shooting for “New Moon” will begin in March.
She said, “A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we’re going to get to go to Italy, which is so cool. For a while there, they were like, Oh, we don’t know if we have the money, but now I think we may have the money!”

I lived in Forks for 6 years and wish they were filming some parts of the movie there. I hear their filming in Vancouver , but id that washington or Canada? I’m loving this story, Good going. Something new for a change.

I’m in vancouver, and wanted to check out some sets, where in West Vancouver were they filming, maybe a street name or maybe general area? I heard to try Stevens Drive, do you know if thats right, I’m also looking into fraser st in Surrey, would you or anyone else on here happen to know any better exact location so search. Thanks so much!
Well, here today they have been filming on my street, in west vancouver. It was cool and Taylor lottner ( i know i did not spell it right) gave autographs!
They were in poco again yesterday and surrey day before that

I know you have a ton of requests for more information, but I just happen to live in New West and wanted to know where exactly it is…? I’m sure that SOME places here resemble Forks or even maybe Port Angeles. It would be amazing if you could give me some info to check them out?

I hear they are in New West, Vancouver, Tofino, Port Coquitlam… I ive in Port Coquitlam and found Jacob Black’s House today but I’ve heard they already filmed there…. although they only began filming 2 weeks ago and were in Tofino for a week… I hope I didn’t miss the filming but I did post my photos up on my website… I shall continue my search :)

oh and i know that because i live in vancouver and my cousins and my friends go to school there
there filming at lord bing high school in vancouver and there filming new moon and eclipise back to back so if you want a part be quick about it.
I think they’re keeping pretty tight lipped about where exactly they’re shooting. I understand they don’t want hordes of screaming fans in Vernonia/St. Helens Oregon, but it kind of irks me that they have to have a different set in Vancouver. I’m sure filming in Tuscany will be lots of fun
I agree with the above statement i find it really catty to say i know where they’re filming but im not saying where !
why bother saying anything at all just keep it to yaself
I’m sure if anyone one of us spent a week in vancouver we’d find where they were filming just a shame i dont have the money or time to do it but i would if i could
i hope all that so find them have fun meeting them but unless ya gonna help us find locations don’t bother posting on here that you know where they are
I find it funnny that everyone suuposedly know where the fimling locations are but never say it. Saying that you know where the filming locations doesnt make you better than anyone else and if you actaully did know where they were and are not saying it thats pretty selfish. Either way merely saying a bleak statement that “i know where their filming” doesnt help anyone and makes them just become more annoyed at you
