I think I’d be better cast as Jane. I have brown hair, can tan, and I’m 4’9 and constantly being told I look incredibly young! In high school, many guys were afraid of me because I was ferocious on the court and field. They said it was my looks I’d give them. I wish I had the opportunity to play Jane. I think Dakota Fanning is a great actress, but thats the problem. She’s more well known than all the other cast members.

Im super upset about this casting though. wonder if Hardwicke would of cast her….?

I LOVE know that. She will be a perfect Jane. I like Jane because she is soooooooooo cool. But who will be Alec, Felix, Demetri?
And Leah? Seth? Paul(he is cool to)? Jared? Embry(little funny)? And Quil(He is one idiot, but he is funny)?
I wanna now everything.
I just hope than Vanessa Hudgens dont do Leah. Leah have a stile EMO or Punk she is COOL. And Vanessa don´t hve face at can encorpore her…

when reading New Moon I always imagined Jane to be younger and Shorter, Dakota Fanning is getting kinda old for this part now. And now who will play Alec since Dakota isn’t a twin? I guess i would’ve preferred if they were actual twins and somewhat younger.. and less known.

I think that Dakota Fanning is a wonderful young actress and will do a great job.I feel happy for her, but I am still a little sad that it didn’t go to me. All of us hopefuls will find something else. Being bitter will not help anything, so we should try to be happy for her and look at the bright side, even though it is hard.

no! nonononononono! She’s supposed to be EVIL. Sadistic. not supposed to have that little girl sparkle. she’s supposed be gorgeous, young, and CONIVING. you don’t see that in Dakota Fanning. She was perfect for films like Flicka, where she could use her innocence. But Jane of the volturi is NOT INNOCENT. and she’s not supposed to remind you of Flicka.
