We have quite the discussion going here about “New Moon” casting news and rumors. But the thread is getting huge and cumbersome every time you click on it!
So let’s continue the discussion on this post. Feel free to offer casting tips, news, rumors, and anything else you hear about “New Moon” in the comments below.
The latest I’ve heard is that Vanessa Hudgens is NOT up for a role in the movie. Well, at least, according to Entertainment Weekly: “Sources inside Summit Entertainment and Hudgens’ camp tell EW that the filmmakers aren’t looking at the star for any role in the soon-to-be-shooting ‘Twilight’ followup.”
In fact, the only actors confirmed at this writing are Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner (yes, he’ll be back as Jacob). Chris Weitz will direct the second installment of the vampire series written by Stephenie Meyer, to be released in theaters Nov. 20, 2009.

Its up to the casting director, because there was plenty private auditions for seth and leah, if they think one of the people who submitted their video has the chops, then they will contact you by phone or email for further auditioning. There was over 2,000+ auditions submitted for the part of LEAH ALONE! so there is ALOT of videos to watch and choose from. And she will watch them ALL. Im not sure how many they auditioned privately. All you can do at this point is wait and hope your audition was enough to get you to the next round of elimination.
do yall think that they will cast either seth or leah from one of the people who submitted auditions?
Hey all! I’m sure all of you who posted an audition video checked but it looks like if anyone does hear back now, it’ll be by the 15th, not today-they must have received a tonnn of videos!
